Day 2 was much more relaxed, less people, the lines were shorter, but a lot hotter too....like 94 degrees! But after a Summer in Florida, 94 degrees without humidity is nothing.
We decided to head over to Frontier Land and get to the rides we missed the day before first. We did Pirates of the Caribbean (again) and then the Haunted Mansion, Splash Mountain twice (Kaylee's favorite ride) and a few other smaller rides in that area. We ended up spending most of the day there.
riding the monorail into the park
we were sooooo lucky that we got in free both days
since a good friend of the family works at Downtown Disney!!!

Mom and
KK on the Jungle Cruise

on the cruise

meeting
Aladdin and Jasmine

doing her pirate impression before we went on the ride again

it's all about Jack Sparrow now since the movies have come out

the Haunted Mansion, changed the theme
to the Nightmare Before Christmas

waiting in the long line for Splash Mountain,
the second time we did the fast pass

just hanging around, my little monkey

met a friend on the Pooh Bear ride

and then met Pooh Bear

and
Tigger too!

the second time we went on Splash Mountain I tricked Kaylee into
sitting where I sat the last time (and got seriously soaked)
this is when she figured out what I did.
I could not get wet again, my pants were still sticking to
me at this point, not a good look!

our picture, you can't even see Kaylee sitting beside me

posing in front of the Castle

getting a little tired and silly by this point in the day

after almost 2 hours in line we got to meet a few princesses
(yes, 2 hours but totally worth it)
meeting Belle

and Jasmine again

and a sort of grumpy Ariel
maybe since she wasn't wearing her fins?

the have a little beauty salon near the princess area where you can......

get your face painted

we did the Buzz
Lightyear ride and then headed to Red Robin for dinner
Kaylee was thrilled that they sang to her and gave her come ice cream

wanting to be just like Papa

We tried to come home on Tuesday, but due to a dust storm in Phoenix
(where we were flying home through)
we ended up spending almost 7 hours in the airport
including 2 on the airplane before the offered people the chance to get off.
I jumped at that, with my fear of flying and all, I wanted off.
So after a $40 cab ride back to the hotel, we tried again the next day and finally made it home!
